The “Chuck Dye” socks were carefully dyed using natural dyes and traditional dyeing methods and techniques passed down from ancient times at “Atowa”, a dyeing workshop located in a small village overlooking the sea in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture . “Chuck” socks use plenty of thick, voluminous pile knitting similar to a towel to improve cushioning. The ribs at the collar are longer, and the special gauze-like, soft, open-weave knit fabric reduces tightness, and the three-dimensional knitting at the heel provides a more secure hold. The material is made of strong and durable twin yarn (100% cotton).
